Experience a new OS, Samsung Z1 with Tizen is here

You may have tried all the smartphone OS you could and finally got tired. But now, you can experience something totally new. One of the largest smartphone makers, Samsung has launched its new device Z1, which runs Tizen OS. Samsung is no longer the only smartphone giant, so they are trying hard to innovate something new and this Samsung Z1 with Tizen OS is the result of their effort.

The Samsung Z1 with Tizen Os costs Rs. 5700 only in India and the phone has entry level specs, though Samsung has claimed that the phone will have a fast boot up and power efficient. Earlier, the specs of Samsung Z1 with Tizen OS was leaked and the specs are same, including a 4-inch WVGA screen, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 768MB of RAM, a 1500mAh battery, 3.1-megapixel camera, and 4GB of internal storage and also expandable storage via microSD. And this phone also supports 3G connectivity as leaked earlier. The phone has a front camera, but the phone will only be able to record VGA videos.

Samsung Z1 with Tizen OS users will also get free music content from Hungama for three months. Z1 users will also get bundled subscriptions from nexGTv and BoxTV worth Rs. 1,750, with access to over 7,000 Bollywood and Hollywood movies, apart from local TV shows. Aircel and Reliance subscribers will also get 500MB of free 3G data per month for six months. So, this phone can give some competition to Firefox OS powered smartphones in case of features as this phone is aimed to people who will experience a smartphone for the first time, but in case of price, this phone is almost Rs. 3,000 costlier than Firefox Os powered phones. But one thing is still in the midst of doubt- Apps. This is a new ecosystem, though Samsung gave WhatsApp, they have not mentioned the number of apps available for the Tizen OS. Though, with time Samsung is expected to launch newer Tizen OS powered smartphones, which will have better specs and will also include more and more apps in the app store.
