John McAfee reveals how he can hack an iPhone within 30 minutes - 4

John McAfee, a cybersecurity pioneer and maker of McAfee Antivirus revealed how he can hack an iPhone or a computer within half an hour and he also smashed FBI saying that they are deceiving the people saying that they need a universal key to access devices. He literally smashed FBI saying that FBI’s role in the investigation of San Bernardino shooting is ‘trivial’ exercise which should take just half an hour for FBI to unlock the device.

John McAfee said that FBI is fooling people by showing that they are forcing Apple to create a backdoor in iOS security, but that’s like a decoy showing the excuse of investigation which requires unlocking the iPhone 5c used in the shooting. He also added that FBI already knows how to unlock it and if they don’t know, then the population is in deep trouble. He accused FBI for deceiving the public, as they are asking for the universal key so that they can unlock more devices in future.

He explained how to hack an iPhone within 20 minutes. He said that a hardware and software engineer are required to do the job while the hardware engineer will take apart the iPhone and run a disassembler, the software engineer will scan the code to figure out the instructions used to unlock the keypad. Here’s his statement.

“You need a hardware engineer and a software engineer. The hardware engineer takes the phone apart and it copies the instruction set, which is the iOS and applications and your memory, and then you run a piece, a program called a disassembler which takes all the ones and zeroes and gives you readable instructions. Then, the coder sits down and he reads through, and what he’s looking for is the first access to the keypad, because that’s the first thing you’re doing when you input your pad. It’ll take half an hour. When you see that, then you read the instruction for where in memory this secret code is stored. It is that trivial. A half an hour.”

And also, here’s the video interview, worth watching it.

This is not the first time he did that, he thrashed an FBI personnel on the same matter just a day ago.

So, looks like some hardcore cybersecurity researchers are also talking about this thing, but the main worry thing is what FBI is up to! Do they really have the ability to unlock or they are deceiving people to get access to all iPhone users? What do you think about this fresh conspiracy? Let us know in the comments section below.
