Flipkart & ASUS Tie Up For A Long Term Strategic Partnership - 4

ASUS, the Taiwanese leader in smartphones and IT technology and India’s largest e-commerce marketplace Flipkart, have today announced a long-term strategic partnership. Under the agreement, Flipkart becomes an ASUS premier partner and seller for smartphones and to start off, the ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 will be launched on April 23rd in India.

From now on, Flipkart will be the primary sales channel for ASUS ZenFones. The MOU will further provide customers with the opportunity to enjoy exclusive access to ASUS ZenFones on the e-commerce platform. Both companies will collaborate in the co-creation of new products for the Indian market and will support each other in the planning and execution of marketing activities for ASUS ZenFones.

The first product to be launched under this partnership will be the Zenfone Max Pro. ASUS CEO Jerry Shen only revealed that the Zenfone Max Pro M1 will be revealed on April 23rd and the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636. Apart from that, he didn’t mention anything about display size, RAM or talk about the camera, so it is expected that under the hood, the company is planning heavily to launch an array of products, specially designed for the Indian consumers.

We strongly believe this collaboration will provide both companies a better opportunity to provide delightful propositions to Indian consumers.”

Today, the company has also announced support for digitizing India and aiding the digital education of the needy in Indian society through its CSR initiatives. Today at the event, the company also showcased a complete lineup of new innovations since 2014 including smartphones, motherboards, gaming PC, high-end routers and even the first smart home robot Zenbo to demonstrate how the company is developing new technologies and what innovation capabilities it has got.
