HMD Global the home of Nokia has restored the lineup of Nokia Smartphones by introducing the next generation Nokia 3.1 in India. According to the company, the successor of Nokia 3 is an Android One device which delivers the latest offerings of Google Services, where Google Assistant is one of them.

According to the Vice President and Country Head of India, HMD Global, Ajey Mehta said, “India is one of our top markets and Indian consumers, a top priority for us. The company considers Nokia 3 as the most successful lineup among the Nokia Smartphones, however, Nokia 3.1 will go beyond to break all the track records by retaining its offering which continues to provide a pure, simple, secure and updated Android experience along with the lag-free performance, design and premium craftsmanship that completely matches with its predecessor.

Coming to the specs list, the Nokia 3.1 flaunts a 5.2-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device also comes with 2.5D curved glass which is protected by an unspecified Corning Gorilla Glass.
In terms of its design and physical overview, the Nokia 3.1 is crafted in a way that it’s curved glass smoothly blends with the CNC’d aluminum sides with a dual diamond cut which displays the perfect harmony of a materialistic slim design, making it more attractive than ever before.

Apart from that, the performance of the device can easily be determined as it runs on MediaTek 6750 which is an octa-core chipset clocked at 1.5 GHz delivering twice the processor cores and a 50% more performance boost than it’s the previous model, making it stable to keep up with the heavy usage.

The device comes equipped with 2 gigs of RAM and 16 gigs of Onboard storage capacity. Although users can expand the storage capacity by popping in a microSD card. Besides that, the device is equipped with Mali T860 GPU to fulfill pretty much all the gaming needs.

Nokia 3.1 features a 13-megapixel primary image sensor at the back which comes with autofocusing technology and an 8MP front-facing camera with 84.6-degree wide-angle lens to take wider group selfies. According to the company, the camera comes packed with a whole host of sensors usually found on premium phones. The Nokia 3.1 lets you make the most out of popular AR apps like Pokémon Go and capture the whole scene with panoramic imaging.

As far as the Android User Experience is concerned, it’s already mentioned at the beginning that the Nokia 3.1 joins the family of Android One Nokia Smartphones, which means that the device gets smart, secure and simple minimal interface which is designed by Google.
