Till now, in the smartphone history the most famous smartphone leaker is definitely Evan Blass who startred @evleaks, a Twitter account which reported all the leaks and spoof from HTC, LG, Nokia, Motorola and other smartphone makers, even before they made an official announcement.1

Evan Blass, the guy behind @evleaks announces his retirement from leaking smartphone news and information.

The Next Web had a talk with him and he reveled certain reasons behind this decision. He was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and he said that he’s planning for a better life. he even mentioned that he doen’t have any options for revering back the decision and will even come back. When he was asked about his favorite leak he said, “My favorite leak was the HTC M8 Prime, even though the phone is dead now. I think the 3D rotating render is just beautiful, hypnotizing.”

He was asked about who will take his place and keep this trend alive. And he mentioned the name of  TK O’Connor, of TK Tech News. “The man is a beast when it comes to leaking — and body checks — but he’s also the nicest guy you’ll ever meet,” Evan said.

But no need to worry about him. He won’t be stopping everything at once. According to him, the futurew of the blog is now uncertain, but he will keep tweeting from that account and it will be his personal account.

At the last, I will like to mention a thing. May be he has appeared on every single tech blog like us on the web. And he has helped everyone a lot. Now, he is leaving his current career and move to a new one. You’ll be missed @evleaks.
