New Lumia 730 codenamed ‘Superman’ with new Debian Red Firmware .
Lumia 730 codenamed as ‘Superman’, is a forthcoming smartphone from Microsoft mobile, a successor to the original mid range Nokia Lumia 720. The smartphone will be well suited for the ‘selfie’ trend going on as it will pose a 5 MP front camera for taking clear selfies. As to primary camera, Nokia will stick to 6.1 MP camera to take sharp pictures. Lumia 720 also had the best camera in its price range.
Few days back some images of the Lumia 730 came forward which confirmed it will have a new firmware code named ‘Debian Red’. Have a look at the image:
Some of its leaked specs are:
- 4.7 inch display
- 1 GB ram
- 6.1 MP rear camera
- 5 MP front facing camera
- Quad core processor
- 8GB internal storage
- Micro SD support, expandable upto 128 GB
- Dual sim
Although the processor speed is unknown, it is predicted to have a Snapdragon 400 with 1.6 GHz or 1.7GHz CPU. The original Lumia 720 had 512 MB ram but this smartphone is likely to have 1GB ram. It is expected to be officialy announced on september 4 at Microsoft IFA press event along with Lumia 830. We noticed one thing now that Nokia is also following the alphabetical like Google for the firmware updates. At first we got Amber then Black after that Cyan and now we heard of Debian Red all in the name of colors.
