Xolo has expanded its Q-series smartphone family with the introduction of the successor to the Q1010, the Q1010i, with an improved camera sensor. The Xolo Q1010i is now listed on the company’s site at a price of Rs. 13,499. However, there is no buzz about the availability of the handset.
The Xolo Q1010i features an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera, which features an Exmor R sensor with f/ 2.0 aperture and 5P lens module, alongside a 1.4 micron pixel size for enhanced image quality. It has also a 2-megapixel front-facing camera on board for taking selfies and video calling.

The Xolo Q1010i is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean right out-of-the-box; though there is a claimed upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat. It comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720×1280 resolution and offers a pixel density of 294 ppi. It also boasts of OGS (One Glass Solution) and Asahi Scratch Q1010i_120x212Resistant Glass.

Just like the Q1010, the Xolo Q1010i is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTech MT 6582 processor with a Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The Xolo Q1010i comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD.

On the connectivity matter, the Xolo Q1010i includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. It packs a 2250mAh battery, which according to the company, delivers up to 19 hours of talk time and up to 732 hours of standby time on 2G network. The Xolo Q1010i measures 143.6×72.2 x 8.3mm and is available in Black colour, and Xolo quietly launched another Q-series smartphone, dubbed Q2500, at Rs. 14,999. The Xolo Q2500 runs the dated Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box; however, the official site claims that the device is upgradeable to Android 4.4 KitKat.
