Xolo One launched with guaranteed upgrade to Android Lollipop

xolo_oneThe Android 5.0 Lollipop is here and people are excited to see the new UI and style of this latest version of Android, but for now the Android Lollipop upghrade has been announced for very few devices. But our own homeland smartphone maker Xolo has launched a new smartphone called the Xolo One, which is an entry level smartphone priced at Rs. 6,599 and the main highlight of the phone is that the manufacturer has already announced guaranteed upgrade to Android Lollipop. The phone ships with Android Kitkat out of the box but you will get the latest upgrade very soon. The smartphone has been listed on the official website but no words were spoken about the availability of this phone.

Now lte’s move onto the specs of this budget Androiwd smartphone. The Xolo One has a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) IPS display and offers a pixel density of 218ppi. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582M) processor alongside Mali 400 MP2 GPU, coupled with 1GB of RAM. In case of storage, Xolo has given prettyu good option in an entry level smartphone, the phone houses 8 GB of internal;l memory which can be expanded upto 32 GB via microSD.

In case of camera, the phone is a little disappointing as it has a 5-megapixel fixed-focus rear snapper with LED flash, but it also has a 0.3 MP front facing camera. Though the rear camera has scene detection, Panaroma, geo tagging, best shot, smile shot, and HDR options. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, and 3G. The phone is powered up with a 1700 mAh battery.
