Samsung, one of the leading OLED TV manufacturer, has launched the World’s First 8K QLED TV in India today. It’s evident that the content available in the market is not 8K ready. So, keeping this in mind, they have provided revolutionary solutions in the form of Real 8K resolution, 8K AI Upscaling, Quantum Processor 8K, and Quantum HDR. These QLED 8K smart TVs will be available in four sizes – 98 inches (247 cm), 82 inches (207 cm), 75 inches (189 cm) and 65 inches (163 cm). The display will come with 33 million pixels, four times the resolution of 4K UHD TVs and 16 times that of a Full HD TV.

AI Features

Samsung has put Quantum Processor 8K in these TVs lineup which can upscale any content to 8K in video and audio quality regardless of their main resolution. The QLED 8K TVs also support HDR content.

Voice Control

Samsung’s 2019 QLED 8K TV line up allows users to operate it through your favorite voice assistants like Bixby or Google Assistant. The Far Field Voice Capability feature on the ‘One Remote Control’ can pick up voices far across the room without any hiccups.

Ambient Mode

We do not watch TV shows all the time and for those situations, Samsung has added Ambient Mode to the TV which allows showing an interactive background while displaying weather condition and time. As it has virtually no bezels and can be hung with a No Gap Wall-Mount, the TV blends in into the wall of your Smart Home.

AirPlay Support

You can also enjoy your content through HDMI, USB or from a Set Top Box. Surprisingly, Apple and Samsung have co-operated and offered iTunes Movies and Apple AirPlay 2 support out of the box.
