I attended the Asus Zenfestival 2015 in New Delhi and the event has been great with some announcements regarding the availability of the new Zenfone Lineup in India by ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih. The event was marked by the presence of the top executives of Asus Global. Along with the new line up of Zenfone 2 Asus also announced the new Zenfone Max which will have a mammoth 5,000 mAh. So, let’s take a look at the devices that were launched at the Zenfestival 2015 in New Delhi.

Zenfone MaxASUS-ZenFone-Max

The highlight of the new ZenFone Max (ZC550KL) is its incredible long lasting battery which is a 5000mAh lithium-polymer battery that will give your an immense amount of battery life and will keep you going no matter how hardcore user you are.

The Zenfone Max sports a bright and clear 5.5-inch IPS display with wide viewing angles, and for protection it comes with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 4 which will keep your phone free fro scratches and will give you a great amount of durability. The phone is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. ZenFone Max features a 13MP and 5MP PixelMaster camera combo with a wide f/2.0 aperture which let you take great wide angle pictures and great selfies. That’s not all, the rear camera boasts laser auto-focus for sharp, near-instant shots. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. On the software front, it runs Android Lollipop out of the box.

Zenfone Selfie

This is the device which I tried for the maximum amount of time, however I could not actually get the best idea about the front facing flash as it was all lit up environment. Okay, let’s take a look at what it has got.

Zenfone Selfie (ZD551KL) is probably the most affordable and best phone right now for those who want a great selfie camera for all their social networking activities, with dual 13MP PixelMaster cameras, dual-color, dual-LED Real Tone flash both front and rear, plus laser auto-focus for ultra-fast shots with complete clarity.

ZenFone Selfie has got an ergonomic Arc design and intuitive rear key which makes capturing selfies easier than ever, and on top of that live touchup and butifyingg optins make the phone a selfie phone killer. The phone has a 5.5-in Full HD display. Talking about the camera, the Zenfone Selfie has got front-facing PixelMaster a 13MP camera and an f/2.2-aperture, 88-degree wide-angle lens to capture wide angle selfies. The unique Selfie Panorama mode enables selfies with an outlook of up to 140 degrees,so that you never miss anyone of your friends in those selfies you take with Zenfone Selfie. ZenFone Selfie’s rear camera is just as advanced as the front camera with a large f/2.0 aperture lens for superior low-light shots. Both cameras are engineered with five-prism Largan lenses and top-quality Toshiba sensors, and include dual-LED Real Tone flash technology for perfect illumination in any lighting conditions. The Asus Zenfone Selfie will be available at a jaw dropping price of just Rs. 15,999, guess other selfie phones has now got a very tough competitor here.

Zenfone 2 Laser

ZenFone 2 Laser is for photography enthusiasts with 13MP PixelMaster camera with an f/2.0 wide-aperture lens to capture stunning, high-resolution photos without any shutter lag. This is made possible by laser auto-focus technology that enables users to capture perfect clarity pictures in just 0.3 seconds. The phone is available in three variants- 5-inch (ZE500KL), 5.5-inch (ZE550KL) and 6.0-inch (ZE601KL) versions with up to 1920 x 1080-pixel Full HD resolution, ZenFone 2 Laser also incorporates the latest and toughest Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It boasts an up to octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon processor coupled with up to 3GB of RAM. Zenfone laser 6 inch (ZE601KL) starts from Rs 17999 (with audio cover – Rs. 17999) and Zenfone laser 5.5 inch (ZE550KL) is priced at Rs. 9,999 for 2GB RAM/ 16GB, 3GB RAM/ 16GB variant is priced at Rs. 13,999.

Zenfone 2 Deluxe

ZenFone 2 Deluxe (ZE551ML) is an all-rounder with powerful performance and sheer brilliance, with a gorgeous new multifaceted polygonal finish accentuating the signature ZenFone 2 Ergonomic Arc design. ZenFone 2 Deluxe features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, and boasts of 13MP/5MP PixelMaster cameras. It is powered by 2.3GHz 64-bit Intel Atom processor with 4GB RAM and  of course, 4G/LTE connectivity. ZenFone 2 Deluxe also features ASUS BoostMaster fast-charge technology for 60% capacity in just 39 minutes which is great for travelers who need to charge their phones fast. Just like all the other phones launched today, Zenfone 2 Deluxe also runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with ZenUI on top. The phone comes with Trend Micro security software for safe web browsing. Zenfone 2 Deluxe pricing starts from Rs. 22,999.
