Huawei has unveiled the new Ascend Mate II 4G smartphone at CES 2014. Its surely a giant projector if we compare with any feature phone, sorry, let’s get back to the topic. It has a huge 6.1-inch 720p HD succeeding the company’s original Ascend Mate smartphone. That’s what Colin Giles, the Vice President of Huawei Consumer Business Group said at the launch event: “With Huawei Ascend Mate2 4G, we are bringing the benefits and convenience of super fast connectivity to people everywhere. Huawei Ascend Mate2 4G is power-packed for the mobile generation who want non-stop entertainment on the go, such as the ability to snap and download photo albums in seconds or use their smartphone as their mobile office.”
And we also think that whatever he said is totally right because the phone comes with a pretty powerful configuration. It is having a 1.6GHz quad-core processor (Snapdragon MS 8928 or HiSilicon), a 13 MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. Along with that it is powered with a powerbank like battery of 4050 mAh. And the phone also includes general features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and Android 4.3 with Emotion UI 2.0. Just like its predecessor, Ascend Mate II 4G can also be used to charge other smartphones. Quite a cool product especially for those people who always wana video chat over the internet, graphic designers and the people who like to play movies on the go. Huawei has always been a pretty trusted brand in case of smartphones and we hope that they will hold the same legacy of the Ascend smartphone.
